All of us share this beautiful place we call earth with countless types of viruses, germs, fungi, and bacteria. There is so much diversity in what we come into contact with on a daily basis that it can be extremely hard to understand the number of “things” we are exposed to. While some of these microbes are mostly harmless and in some cases can be beneficial to our health, there are also those that can cause a wide range of diseases and health problems. If you haven’t been living under a rock the last few weeks then you’ll likely know we are in the middle of a full blown pandemic.
The the number one way to avoid getting these harmful viruses/microbes into your system is by washing our hands. This may seem childish but its obviously a global problem for us as humans right now and we need to do a better job at executing what most of us learned in pre-school! In addition to washing your hands, following your doctors anti-viral protocol, and staying inside, you can use certain products both natural and man made to help reduce the life expectancy of the bad microbes in your environment. This a great article by Johns Hopkins Medical on what essential oils are good for and how to use them.
Some of you may be asking, what the heck is a “microbe”? See this quick video below for an intro to them and how the affect us.
